What does EP 10 mean?
EP stands for Energy Profit. With the EP skylights, Skylux offers a solution for buildings with high insulation demands. The 6-walled Skylux EP10 skylight reaches an insulation value of 1.3 W/m2 K. When combined with the right skylight curb (e.g. 30/20), EP skylights offer a suitable alternative in energy-passive buildings.

The main reason why people choose an opal skylight
An opal skylight is milky white and slightly less translucent than a clear skylight. The difference, however, is very small. The main reason why people choose an opal skylight is because it partly reflects solar heat. A clear skylight allows almost all heat rays to pass through, while an opal skylight only lets 42% through. The milky white appearance also provides privacy.

Recognisable look
The yellow dome caps provide a recognisable look. If you see the yellow caps, you know you are looking at an acrylic skylight. The cap is made of solid plastic and has a press seal for excellent watertightness.
