1954
The foundation
Grandfather Albert Glorieux started a wholesale business in glass and mirrors in Kuurne. His unfailing nose for new business opportunities soon led to the first steps into high-quality plastics.
1971
The first light
His son Rik Glorieux took over the helm and introduced the very first Skylux skylights. A revolutionary step that defined us as a pioneer in daylight systems.
2014
Going global
The third generation takes over. Under the leadership of Jean Glorieux, Skylux grows into a leading international player. Proven Belgian quality, recognized and applied worldwide.

The digital acceleration
