Plastic skylights
The proven standard for every flat roof. For more than 60 years, the trusted choice of installers, contractors, and private customers. More than 110 sizes, thousands of configurations, and always available from stock. Whether you are renovating, building new, or specifying - the perfect skylight exists and is available at lightning speed.

Materials
Your light. Your choice.
Safety and lighting comfort go hand in hand. Choose classic acrylic for maximum clarity, or the Skylux 'armoured dome' in polycarbonate: virtually unbreakable, impact-resistant, and burglary-resistant. Combine it with the right type: Clear for maximum light output, Opal for soft privacy, or Heatstop, which reflects solar heat without blocking daylight.

Integration
New build or renovation. Always the right fit.
Installing a skylight should not cause delays. That is why our systems are designed for speed and precision. In new build projects, our PVC curbs connect perfectly to any roof covering. During renovation, you replace your old dome without demolition work, while retaining the existing opening. No complex structures, but an intelligent design that fits directly.

Performance
From single-skin to 5-skin: choose your insulation level.
The number of shells determines the insulation value (U-value) of your installation. From single-skin for open canopies to 5-skin for passive construction. Every step up means less heat loss, less noise disturbance, and lower energy consumption. A smart choice for every building standard and every budget.

Ventilation
Manual or electric. You decide the climate.
A skylight with ventilation does double duty: daylight and air quality in one installation. Choose a manual version with spindle for the easiest installation, or an electric motor for maximum ease of use. Quiet operation, minimal maintenance, immediate added value for any room.

Plug & Play
Curb. Dome. Done.
Why make it difficult when it can be easy? Our skylights are developed for speed on the roof. In new build projects, you install the curb and the dome in no time. In renovation projects, a new Skylux dome fits directly onto your existing Skylux curb. Is the old curb from another brand? With our smart renovation frame, it always fits. Simple, fast, and watertight.
Skylight models: fixed, opening, roof access & SHEV
Maximum daylight, optimal insulation or burglary resistance - for every project there is a Skylux skylight that fits perfectly. From a simple fixed version to certified SHEV systems for industry and stairwells.
From our own stock.

Available within 5 working days. Ready for installation.
Choose the dome that suits your project.
A skylight is more than a hole in the roof. It is a choice for quality, safety and lasting comfort. But every project requires a different combination. Start with the basics: which material, which glazing finish and how many layers does your situation need? From ultra-strong to super insulating.
New light. Without demolition work.
Replacing your old, weathered skylight? With the smart Skylux renovation frame, you can quickly install a brand-new skylight or iWindow flat roof window on your existing roof curb. No damaged roofing, no extra costs, 100% watertight.
Complete your skylight
Complete every installation. From PVC curbs and pleated blinds to insect screens and electric operation - everything to ensure your skylight performs optimally. For both new build and renovation, for every room and every use.

Frequently asked questions about skylights
Can I replace my old skylight with a new Skylux skylight?
Yes, that is very easy. Our skylights have universal dimensions. In most cases, you can unscrew the old dome and place the new one directly on the existing roof curb. Is your current curb not from Skylux or does it have a non-standard size? Then our universal renovation frame offers the solution. This way, you can enjoy an upgrade without any demolition work on the roof.
What is the difference between acrylic and polycarbonate?
The choice depends on your need for safety. Acrylic (PMMA) is our crystal-clear standard; it is 10 times stronger than glass and highly weather-resistant. Polycarbonate (PC) is what we call the ‘armoured skylight’. This material is virtually unbreakable (250 times stronger than glass), extremely impact-resistant, and burglar-resistant. For maximum safety, we always recommend polycarbonate.
How many walls (skins) do I need for good insulation?
The number of walls determines the insulation value (U-value). The more walls, the better the heat is retained indoors. A single-skin skylight is only suitable for open canopies (carports). A double-skin skylight is sufficient for unheated spaces such as garages. For a heated home or office, a triple-skin skylight is the minimum standard. For maximum energy savings and passive construction, choose a four- or five-skin skylight.
How do I measure the correct size for my skylight?
The most important dimension is the ‘structural opening’. This is the size of the opening in the roof (the inside of the curb), viewed from above. Measure the length and width of this opening. Our standard sizes (for example 100x100 cm) always refer to this structural opening. In doubt? View our measurement instructions in the documents.
Does rain make a lot of noise on a plastic skylight?
During heavy rainfall, you will hear tapping sounds on plastic. However, this noise is significantly reduced by choosing a multi-wall skylight. The air layers between the skins act as sound insulation. Looking for absolute silence? Then consider our glass iWindow flat roof windows, which reduce impact noise to a minimum.
Does a skylight help against heat in summer?
As standard, a skylight lets through a lot of light and heat. For south-facing spaces or rooms that heat up quickly, we recommend the Heatstop version. These skylights are fitted with a mother-of-pearl coating that reflects the sun’s infrared rays. This effectively keeps the heat out, while still allowing you to enjoy natural daylight.
