According to the standards EN 12101-9/10 + NBN S208-3:2018 for max. 1 Skymax CE
The new generation Skycom® Skymax CE central detection unit entirely meets the European norm EN 12101-10 and of the European norm prEN 12101-9. That is why the Skycom® Skymax CE central detection unit is also certified according to this SHE norm (unlike other CE testing, which are unrelated to the European fire protection regulations!).
The Skycom® Skymax CE is a basis central detection unit without operation on the front panel and is equipped with connection possibilities for detectors, push-buttons and switches. There are also potential free contacts to allow the connection of any other system to the Skycom® Skymax CE (sectional gates, SIM modules, fireproof doors, …).Different LED indicators continually give information about the (in)correct functioning of the central detection unit. The permanent monitoring allows the immediate signalisation of a failure in connection, feeding or a poor battery.
The central detection unit is connected to the mains voltage 230 V. The batteries too, are permanently loaded by the feeding, which guarantees a 72 h autonomy. The Skycom® Skymax CE ensures 100% a double energy source as the EN 12101-10 norm explicitly requires. The connected SHE domes and ventilation hatches can easily and unlimitedly be used as daily ventilation. For which a ventilation switch must be connected to the central detection unit.
To meet the norm NBN S21-208-3:2018, a priority switch must always be connected to the Skycom® Skymax CE central detection unit. The priority switch must be located at evacuation level near the access door.
