The Skycom® CE master control unit is the main control unit for operating 24 V motors in a SHEV system. This control unit controls smoke and heat exhaust vents for smoke extraction and daily ventilation within a single fire zone. One master control unit is always required per SHEV zone. When there is only one SHEV vent or one opening system, the master control unit is sufficient. If there are multiple SHEV vents or opening systems within the same zone, a Skycom® CE slave control unit is installed for each additional vent. This ensures that all SHEV vents are controlled safely, centrally, and in accordance with the applicable standards.
Key switch for ventilation mode
With a key switch for the SHEV system, you can easily set the smoke and heat exhaust system to ventilation mode. This means SHEV vents can be used not only for smoke extraction in case of fire, but also for daily ventilation of the building. The key-operated control ensures that only authorised persons can activate or operate the system. This makes the key switch a safe and practical solution for buildings where controlled ventilation via the SHEV system is required.
