Which skylight should I choose?

A question that often occurs on internet forums. People ask themselves if a double-walled skylight is sufficient for their building project. Skylux does not have to think twice: we advise the best insulation possible. The best solution is a 4- or 5-walled skylight, if the budget allows.

The more dome walls, the better the U value

Following versions are recommended, giving their U value: 4-walled (Ut = 1.28), 5-walled (Ut = 0.99), EP10 (Ut = 1.30) plastic skylights. The new flat roof windows iWindow2, iWindow3 and iDome (Flex) have an even better result of course.
