A priority switch has the highest priority in the system. The switch overrides the control unit alarm so that the smoke-hatch skylights can be opened or closed by the firemen. This switch is already provided as standard with the Skycom CE Master control unit, but is a mandatory accessory for the Skycom Skymax control unit.
The switch for controlling our SHE system
The priority switch has been specially developed for the Skycom CE control units used to control our smoke and heat extraction systems..
This switch always has the highest priority in the system. Regardless of the alarm status of the control unit, the SHE hatches can be opened and closed via this switch, for example by the fire brigade. It is advisable to install this switch if the Skycom CE control unit cannot be installed in the entrance hall of a building.
Thanks to the presence of a priority switch in the entrance hall, firemen can easily operate the SHE system. The technical facilities room is recommended as an alternative location for the control unit.
