According to the standards EN 12101-9/10 + NBN S21-208-3:2018 for max. 1 Skymax CE

Now also available with a metal housing. This Skycom® Skymax CE control unit has a white metal housing that can be recessed into the wall. It is the aesthetic version of the standard control unit, for both flush wall mounting and surface mounting, with the same technical performance.

The new generation Skycom® Skymax CE control unit fully meets the European standard EN 12101-10 and the European standard prEN 12101-9. That is why the Skycom® Skymax CE control unit is also CE certified according to this smoke and heat exhaust standard (unlike other CE tests, which are unrelated to the European fire protection regulations!).

The Skycom® Skymax CE is a basic control unit without operation on the front panel and is equipped with connection options for detectors, push-buttons and switches. There are also potential-free contacts to connect any other system to the Skycom® Skymax CE (sectional doors, SIM modules, fire doors, …). Several LED indicators continuously show whether the control unit is functioning correctly. Thanks to permanent monitoring, a cable break, a connection fault, a supply voltage fault or a badly connected battery is signalled immediately.

The control unit is connected to the 230 V mains. The batteries are continuously charged by the power supply, which guarantees an autonomy of over 72 h. The Skycom® Skymax CE ensures a 100% double energy source, as explicitly required by EN 12101-10. The connected smoke and heat exhaust domes and ventilation hatches can therefore be used without problems or limits for daily ventilation. For this, a ventilation switch must be connected to the control unit.

To comply with the standard NBN S21-208-3:2018, a priority switch must always be connected to the Skycom® Skymax CE control unit. It must be located at evacuation level near the access door.
