Skycom CE Slave control unit 24V 8A

Skycom® CE Slave is an extension central detection unit for smoke and heat extraction. This type of central can only be used in combination with a Skycom ® CE Master central detection unit. This central detection unit entirely meets the European norm 12101-10 and the draft of the European norm 12101-9. That is why this central detection unit is also certified according to this SHE norm (unlike other CE testing, which are unrelated to the European fire protection regulations!).

The Skycom® CE Slave is connected to the Skycom® CE Master with a fireproof cable 3 x 0.5 mm². The operation occurs on the Skycom® CE Master control unit. The Skycom® CE Slave offers the major advantage to install it nearby the smoke extraction systems, which reduces the distance and the cable sections to the actuators. The central detection unit is equipped with an built-in thermal sensor. The smoke domes will open at a temperature of 75°C (positive safety). One Skycom® CE Slave central detection unit is needed per smoke hatch.

The central detection unit is connected to the mains voltage 230 V. The batteries too, are permanently loaded by the feeding, which guarantees a 72 h autonomy. The Skycom® CE Slave ensures 100% a double energy source as the EN 12101-10 norm explicitly requires. The connected SHE domes can easily and unlimitedly be used as daily ventilation. The state of the central detection unit or the dome is always indicated by means of the LED indication lights. These give permanently information about the opening, closing, state of the batteries, mains voltage and alarm.
