What is your daylight size?
The daylight size is the net daylight opening you see indoors — measured on the inside of the existing curb, from edge to edge. It is the amount of light that effectively enters your space.
On this webshop, we work exclusively with daylight sizes. Enter your width and length in cm below and you will immediately see which Skylux solutions fit your roof opening.
Renovation or replacement? If you measure the existing skylight from the outside, subtract 160 mm (80 mm flange per side) to obtain the daylight size. Example: an external size of 1160 × 1160 mm = a daylight size of 1000 × 1000 mm.

Note: Daylight size vs roof opening
The daylight size is what you see inside. The roof opening is the hole made in your roof. The two are not always the same.
Vertical curb (ending in /00): roof opening = daylight size.
Sloping curb (ending in /20 or /30): the roof opening is 20 cm or 30 cm larger than the daylight size respectively.
Example: with a sloping curb /20 and a daylight size of 1000 × 1000 mm, your roof opening is 1200 × 1200 mm.
