What is a curb?
A curb is the raised frame on your flat roof on which a skylight or flat roof window rests. It ensures a watertight connection and correct insulation around the roof opening.
Timber curb or Skylux curb?
You build a timber curb yourself to fit your roof opening. Combine it with our adapter frame for a perfect fit beneath your Skylux skylight or flat roof window.
We offer 110 standard sizes, each matched to the corresponding Skylux skylight or flat roof window. The result: a seamless fit, factory-fitted insulation and a sleek finish.
Existing or non-standard curb?
Refurbish without demolition. Already have a timber or non-standard curb? Our adapter frame mounts on top and lets your Skylux skylight or flat roof window fit perfectly.

PVC

PVC curbs are light, strong and well insulated. They are easy to install and neatly finish thanks to the lining groove. Available in square and rectangular shapes, in several heights.
Polyester
Neatly finished and suitable everywhere.
Polyester curbs combine a refined look with high strength. They are light, well insulated and easy to maintain. Available in different shapes and heights.
Metal
Robust and suitable for any scale.
Metal curbs are sturdy and suitable everywhere, including industrial applications. They are supplied in different shapes and heights and remain easy to maintain. The ideal choice when scale and robustness come first.

20/00 EP and EP-S
Super-insulating PVC curb for extra roof insulation
The PVC curb 20/00 EP and EP-S is the choice when your roof requires extra insulation. Adjustable in height, this curb fits seamlessly with varying insulation thicknesses. UV-stabilised for lasting quality, also beneath a skylight or flat roof window exposed to the sun every day. Thanks to the lining groove, you can finish your ceiling neatly and with a visibly professional result.

16/20 EP
Top insulation and robust strength for standard applications
The 16/20 EP is a super-insulating PVC curb that combines top insulation with robust strength. Ideal for standard projects with a skylight or flat roof window. The lining groove provides a sleek ceiling finish on the inside. For a daylight size of 100 x 100 cm, provide a roof opening of 120 x 120 cm, or 124 x 124 cm if you use the lining groove.

The trusted PVC curb for refurbishment
This curb is your go-to choice when replacing straight timber or metal curbs. Ideal for a seamless roof upgrade. Not suitable for iWindow, Vitria and iDome.

30/20
Meets the height requirements for extensive roof insulation and SHE
The 30/20 PVC curb has a height of 30 cm and is ideal for accommodating a thick roof insulation package. This curb is specifically designed to meet the minimum height requirement (30 cm) for smoke and heat extraction (SHE), without additional carpentry work. A CE-certified SHE system such as Skymax or Skylux 160° CE can easily be integrated into the vertical zone.

35/30
Refurbish without demolition work
This PVC curb is easily installed over an existing curb, without demolition work. That saves time and costs during refurbishment. With a height of 150 mm, it is ideal for accommodating additional roof insulation. An optional wider bottom flange (150 mm) is available for extra strength and easy fixing.
In addition, a Skylux 160° CE smoke and heat extraction (SHE) system can be integrated, in accordance with current standards.
