Use only water, mild soap and the Skylux cleaner. Avoid abrasive products, as they damage the material and void the warranty.

Maintaining the PVC curb
Use the Skylux PVC cleaner for optimal results and a durable seal.

Removing scratches
Polishing cream specially developed for acrylic works wonders. Ask your Skylux dealer for advice.

Annual check
Check fixings and sealing strips every year. Small interventions prevent major problems.

Skylux stands behind the quality of its products. Below you can read when the warranty applies and which exceptions apply.
What is covered by the warranty?
Skylux offers a 10-year warranty against manufacturing and material defects on all our main products: flat roof windows, skylights and canopies. So you buy with confidence.
Screens, opening systems and electrical components come with a 2-year warranty period.
The warranty covers the replacement of defective parts. This ensures your product continues to perform optimally.
Please note: for some specific products, the warranty period may differ. Check this at the time of purchase or contact our customer service.
When does the warranty become void?
- Incorrect maintenance (outside the maintenance instructions)
- Use in aggressive environments (e.g. chemical atmosphere)
- Incorrect installation or intentional damage
- Glass breakage caused by external factors (hail, impact, storm)
- Normal wear of moving parts (screens, sunblinds)
- Impact on polycarbonate skylights older than 5 years
- UV discolouration of fabrics and coatings
- Electrical or electronic components older than 2 years
