1. Cleaning acrylic skylights:

• Acrylic is easy to maintain and largely cleans itself.
• Avoid using strong cleaning products. These can damage the plastic.
• For the best care, we recommend the special Skylux cleaner.

2. Cleaning PVC frames and curbs:

• Use the Skylux PVC cleaner for the best results.

Tips for a longer lifespan of your skylight:

• Annual maintenance: check all fasteners and seals annually.
• Simple cleaning: only use water and mild soap. Rinse thoroughly with water after cleaning.
• Avoid aggressive products: do not use abrasives or products that are not intended for acrylic or polycarbonate. Incorrect products can cause damage and void the warranty.
• Removing tar stains: only use turpentine. Then rinse thoroughly with water.
• Treating scratches: scratches on your acrylic skylight? Use a suitable polishing cream. Ask your supplier for advice.
• Avoid insect spray: never spray insect repellents directly onto the skylight.
• Extra care: provide extra protection for metal and polyester curbs.
