We understand that water infiltration can be a concern and we would like to share some facts about this. In case of complaints about water infiltration that are related to our products: after investigation, it appears in almost all cases that the Skylux product is not the cause. Here are some important points to consider:

1. Water traces on the inside: if there is indeed water infiltration through the skylight/iWindow, you should always see water traces on the inside of the curb (upstand).
2. Seals: our skylight/iWindow products are always sealed with a high-quality rubber. This seal prevents water infiltration in almost 99% of the cases.
3. Installation of the flashing profile: if the flashing profile is installed correctly to prevent poor adhesion of the roofing, water infiltration is also excluded.

It is important that installers follow the installation instructions carefully to prevent problems such as water infiltration. If you have any doubts or concerns about your Skylux product, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are happy to help and provide all the necessary support!

Pairing a new remote control is easy and can be done as follows:

For openable versions (O):

1. Remove the clipped cover on the inside of the window.
2. Remove the support plate from the spindle by using 2 screwdrivers and pulling the plate towards you.
3. The window can now be pushed open.
4. On top of the location of the actuator is a "learn" button that can be pressed without removing the actuator.
5.Press this button until you hear a buzzer (when pressing the button, an indicator LED will light up).
6. Press any button on the remote control.
7. You will hear a few "beeps" to indicate that the pairing was successful.

For fixed versions (F):

1. First remove the clipped iDome or iWindow from the curb (upstand).
2. Press the button on the plastic cover (approximately in the middle of the curb).
3. Press any button on the remote control.
4. You will hear a few "beeps" to indicate that the pairing was successful.

For the best experience with your Skylux iWindow2™ or Skylux iWindow3™, install the window with a slope between 4° and 25°. A slope of 5° is ideal to ensure that the glass remains clean and rain water keeps flowing. Make sure that the roof pitch or the placement of the curb follows these recommendations.

Be careful not to screw in the places where the control casings are located. This can cause damage to the system.
