PVC frames are used for assembling openable skylights. These PVC frames have the important advantage that they provide highly effective insulation, thereby significantly reducing the chance of condensation. The special chamber structure in the PVC frame makes it possible, where necessary, to incorporate metal reinforcements. This enables brackets and any other assembly components to be firmly secured to the frame.The top hinges are pre-mounted. The Skylux PVC frames have a co-extruded wind and rain seal. When closing the frame, the seal is properly pressed against the curb and this closes everything off completely. The PVC frames need no further finish.
